The Door Opens
I'm making a new film, in a new way.
Hello and thank you for arriving here!
For over a year now, I’ve been quietly making my next film called THE RECORDING, not out of hiding, but because the first two parts we shot needed a sort of quietness to bloom. I’be been editing, raising funds, casting, and editing some more, and sometimes wrestling with the doubts “what is the place of cinema in the age of AI algorithm ” It’s been intense, personal, and yes, often solitary, but every step has been worth it. I often say that this film is intimate both in story and the people that are involved.
But today, I’m opening the door as we prepare to film the final chapter ( and possibly the most complicated one) in Poland and I invite you to step through this door with me.
This newsletter is where I’ll share the real, unfiltered story, the moments that don’t make it to the final cut or a polished press release. You’ll get a front row seat to the creative chaos, to the decisions that make or break a movie and the people that are making it.
Why am I doing this? Because I’m not just making a film. I’m building something bigger, a new model where films and art are owned, shared, and lived differently. I call it Emotional Architecture (for now).
Why? Great question.
In the coming weeks, I’ll break down exactly how and why this matters, and why it could change the way we create.
If you feel the ground shake under your art ( ie. life) and you’re curious about what it really means to be a creative right now, juggling dreams, doubts, and the reality of AI I’m thrilled you’re here. Let’s see how this new blueprint unfolds.
